Article 44.--PREVENTION OF ASSISTED SUICIDE

      60-4406.   Injunctive relief or civil action; attorneyfees awarded.Reasonable attorney fees shall be awarded to the prevailingplaintiff in a civil action brought pursuant to K.S.A. 60-4404 or60-4405and amendmentsthereto, or in a proceeding for a judgment of contempt of court for violatingan injunction issued under K.S.A. 60-4404 and amendments thereto. Ifthe defendantprevails, and the court determines that a plaintiff brought the suit or theproceeding for a judgment of contempt frivolously or in bad faith, reasonableattorney fees shall be awarded to the defendant.
