Chapter 60.--PROCEDURE, CIVIL Article 5.--LIMITATIONS OF ACTIONS

      60-514.   Actions limited to one year.The following actions shall be brought within one year:

      (a)   Anaction for libel or slander.

      (b)   An action for assault, battery, malicious prosecution, orfalseimprisonment.

      (c)   An action upon statutory penalty or forfeiture.

      (d)   An action brought pursuant to K.S.A. 43-173. Such action shall bebroughtwithin one year from the date of discharge or threat of discharge fromemployment.
