      60-606.   Public utility, common carrier or transportation system.(a) Except as provided by subsection (b), any action brought against apublic utility, common carrier ortransportation system for any liability or penalty or forfeiture, may bebrought in any county into or through which such public utility, commoncarrier or transportation system operates regularly.

      (b)   Any action brought against a public utility, common carrier ortransportation system for damages arising from personal injury, resultingin death or otherwise, shall be brought in either the county in which theinjury occurred or in the county in which the plaintiff resided at the time of injury.
