Chapter 61.--PROCEDURE, CIVIL, FOR LIMITED ACTIONS Article 29.--PLEADINGS

      61-2910.   Application of chapter 60, when.Upon motion of any party and for good cause shown, the courtmay order that anaction filed under the code of civil procedure for limited actions, except anaction filed pursuant to the smallclaims procedureact, article 27 of chapter 61 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, and amendmentsthereto, shall thereafter begoverned by the provisions of chapter 60 of the KansasStatutesAnnotated, and amendments thereto. The party obtaining an order under thissection shall pay anyadditional docketfee required had the action been filed under chapter 60 of the Kansas StatutesAnnotated, and amendments thereto. Upon such order of the court and payment ofany additional docket fee, the clerk of the district court shall renumber thecase as a case filed under chapter 60 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, andamendments thereto, in the same manner as required by K.S.A. 60-2418, andamendments thereto.
