Chapter 61.--PROCEDURE, CIVIL, FOR LIMITED ACTIONS
Article 36.--EXECUTIONS

      61-3611.   Substitution of judgment creditor.Anyperson who claims to havesucceeded to theinterest of the holder of a judgment by appointment as personal representativefor ajudgment holder, by assignment, by operation of law, orotherwise, shall filea notice setting forth the basis for their claim, and thereafter such successorin interest shallbe entitled to all the rights and remedies available to such successor'spredecessor and may proceedto enforce the same in such successor's own name as such successor. It shallnot be necessary to filewith the clerk the documents which form the basis for the claim. If thevalidity of any suchtransfer is disputed by any party affected thereby, the court shall onreasonable notice to allinterested parties whose whereabouts are known, determine the respective rightsand liabilitiesof all the parties.
