      61-3908.   Judgment against surety.Byentering into a supersedeas bond givenpursuant toK.S.A. 61-3905and 61-3906, and amendments thereto, the surety submitsto thejurisdiction of the courtwherein the judgment becomes final, and irrevocably appoints the clerk of suchcourt asthe surety's agent upon whom any papers affecting the surety's liability on thebondmay be served.The surety's liability may be enforced on motion without the necessity of anindependentaction. The motion and such notice of the motion as the judge prescribes may beserved on theclerk of the court who shall forthwith mail copies to the surety ifthe surety's address is known.
