Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH Article 1.--SECRETARY OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT, ACTIVITIES

      65-116a.   Definitions.As used in this act:

      (a)   The word "tuberculosis" shall be construed to mean that thedisease is in a communicable or infectious stage as established by chestx-ray, microscopial examination of sputum, or other diagnosticprocedures approved by the secretary of health and environment; and

      (b)   the words "health officer" shall include the secretary of health andenvironment or the secretary's designee and all localhealth officers.
