Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH Article 1.--SECRETARY OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT, ACTIVITIES

      65-1,183.   Waste management system; standards foroperators; failure or unplanned release.The secretary shall adopt rules andregulations establishing:

      (a)   Standards for training and certifying, and forperiodic continuing education or recertification of, swine facility operatorsmaintaining or supervising the swine wastemanagement system of a swine facility that is required to have a permit; and

      (b)   procedures for notifying the department of failureof a swine waste retention lagoon or pond or any unplannedrelease of animal waste by a swine facility.
