      65-1154.   Application; fees; deposit of moneys.Upon application to the board by any licensed professional nurse in this stateand upon satisfaction of the standards and requirements established under thisact and K.S.A. 65-1130 and amendments thereto, the board shall grant anauthorization to the applicant to perform theduties of a registered nurse anesthetist and be certified as an advancedregistered nurse practitioner. An application to theboard for an authorization, for an authorization with temporaryauthorization, for biennial renewal of authorization, for reinstatement ofauthorization and for reinstatement of authorization with temporaryauthorization shall be upon such form and contain such information as theboard may require and shall be accompanied by a fee to assist in defraying theexpenses in connection with the administration of the provisions of this act.The fee shall be fixed by rules and regulations adopted by the board in anamount fixed by the board under K.S.A. 65-1118 and amendments thereto.There shall be no fee assessed for the initial, renewal or reinstatement ofthe advanced registered nurse practitioner certificate as long as theregistered nurse anesthetist maintains authorization.Theexecutive administrator of the board shall remit all moneys received to thestate treasurer as provided by K.S.A. 74-1108 andamendments thereto.
