65-1687. Same; maintenance of records.All information collected for the prescription monitoringprogram database and any records maintained by the board, or byany entity contracting with the board, submitted to, maintainedor stored as a part of the database, shall be retained for fiveyears. Such information and records shall then be destroyedunless a law enforcement entity or an entity charged withadministrative oversight of those persons engaged in theprescribing or dispensing of scheduled substances and drugs of concern hassubmitted a written request to the board for retention of specificinformation or records in accordance with procedures adopted bythe board.
