65-1953. Same; performance of body piercing ortattooing on persons under18, written and notarized consent; penalties.No person shall perform body piercing, cosmetic tattooing or tattooingon or toanyperson under 18years of age without the prior written and notarized consent of the parent orcourt appointed guardian of such person and the person giving such consent mustbe present during the body piercing, cosmetic tattooing or tattooingprocedure. The writtenpermission and a copy ofthe letters of guardianship when such permission is given byaguardian, shall be retained by the person administering such body piercing,cosmetic tattooing ortattooing for a period of five years. Violation of this section is a classAmisdemeanor.
