Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH Article 2.--LOCAL BOARDS OF HEALTH; CLINICS

      65-241.   State financial assistance to local health departments; definitions.As used in K.S.A. 65-241 to 65-246, inclusive: (a) "Local healthdepartment" means any county, city-county or multicounty department of health.

      (b)   "Secretary" means secretary of health and environment.

      (c)   "Fiscal year" means the period commencing January 1 of any year andending December 31 of the same year.

      (d)   "State financial assistance" means the total amount of money availablefor distribution to local health departments under this act.
