Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH Article 24.--UNIFORM VITAL STATISTICS ACT

      65-2418e.   Civil registration and health statisticsfee fund; authorized uses of moneys credited to fund; predecessor fundabolished, moneys and liabilities transferred to new fund.(a) There is hereby established the civil registrationandhealth statisticsfee fund in the state treasury which shall be administered by the secretary ofhealth andenvironment. All expenditures from the civil registration and health statisticsfee fund shall befor the operating expenditures of the center for health and environmentalstatistics of thedepartment of health and environment, including the civil registration andhealth statisticsfunctions and the implementation, maintenance and administration of the vitalstatisticsintegrated information system. All expenditures from the civil registrationand health statisticsfee fund shall be made in accordance with appropriation acts upon warrants ofthe director ofaccounts and reports issued pursuant to vouchers approved by the secretary ofhealth andenvironment or the secretary's designee.

      (b)   On the effective date of this act, the director of accounts and reportsshall transfer allmoneys in the vital statistics maintenance fee fund to the civil registrationand health statistics feefund. On the effective date of this act, all liabilities of the vitalstatistics maintenance fee fundare hereby transferred to and imposed upon the civil registration and healthstatistics fee fund andthe vital statistics maintenance fee fund is hereby abolished.
