65-3424i. Tire retailers; requirements.(a) Except as provided by subsection (b), no tire retailershall refuse to accept waste tires fromcustomers.
(b) A tire retailer may: (1) Ask customers if they wish to retain their oldtires at the time of sale; (2) refuse to accept more tires from a customerthan purchased by that customer at the time of sale; or (3) refuse to acceptwaste tires from a customer purchasing replacement tires for commercial use ifthe tire retailer does not mountsuch replacement tires.
(c) Tire retailers shall prominently display or make available tocustomers educational materials provided by the department of health andenvironment and department of revenue relating to proper waste tire managementpractices.
