65-424b. Same; construction, operation and leasing by certainmunicipalities authorized.Any city, county, township or any combination thereof, or any hospitaldistrict heretofore or hereafter organized which is authorized to acquire asite, construct, reconstruct, equip, maintain, operate or lease a hospitalis hereby authorized and empowered to acquire a site, construct,reconstruct, equip, maintain, operate or lease a medical facility in likemanner as it is authorized to do in respect to hospitals. All the lawsrelating to hospitals which apply to any such city, county, township or anycombination thereof, or any hospital district heretofore or hereafterorganized shall be applicable to the acquisition of a site for and theconstruction, reconstruction, equipment, maintenance, operation and leasingof a medical facility by such city, county, township or any combinationthereof and any hospital district insofar as the same can be madeapplicable.
