65-4956. Same; definitions.As used in this act:
(a) "Cooperative agreement" means an agreement among two or more health careproviders for the sharing, allocation or referral of patients, personnel,instructional programs, support services and facilities, or medical, diagnosticor laboratory facilities or procedures or other services traditionally offeredby health care providers.
(b) "Health care provider" means health care provider as defined underK.S.A.65-4921 and amendments thereto; licensed pharmacist; or licensed optometrist.
(c) "Hospital" has the same meaning as defined under K.S.A. 65-425 andamendments thereto.
(d) "Secretary" means the secretary of health and environment.
