65-5420. Registration deemed to be licensure oneffective day of act.(a) Any person holding a valid registration as anoccupational therapist immediately prior to the effective date of this actwhichhas been issued by the state board of healing arts shall be deemed to be alicensed occupational therapist and shall be subject to the provisions ofarticle 54 of chapter 65 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated.
(b) Any person holding a valid registration as an occupational therapyassistant immediately prior to the effective date of this act which has beenissued by the state board of healing arts shall be deemed to be a licensedoccupational therapy assistant and shall be subject to the provisions ofarticle 54 ofchapter 65 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated.
(c) This section shall be part of and supplemental to the occupationaltherapy practice act.
(d) The provisions of this section shall take effect on and after April 1,2003.
