Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH Article 57.--EMERGENCY PLANNING AND COMMUNITY RIGHT-TO-KNOW

      65-5729.   Commission on emergency planning andresponse successor to powers and duties; force and effect of acts.Except as otherwise provided by this order, the commission onemergency planning and response established by this order shall be thesuccessor in every way to the powers, duties, and functions of the adjutantgeneral and the secretary of health and environment in which the same werevested prior to the effective date of this order and which are transferredpursuant to K.S.A. 65-5728. Every act performed in the exercise ofsuch powers,duties, and functions by or under the authority of the commission on emergencyplanning and response shall be deemed to have the same force and effect as ifperformed by the adjutant general or the secretary of health and environment inwhich such powers, duties, and functions were vested prior to the effectivedate of this order.
