Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH
Article 65.--SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS AND AUDIOLOGISTS

      65-6505.   Qualifications for licensure.Speech-language pathologists or audiologists shall meet thefollowing qualifications for licensure under this act:

      (a)   Possession of at least a master's degree orequivalent in speech-languagepathology or audiology from an educational institution with standardsconsistent with those of the state universities of Kansas approved by thesecretary pursuant to rules and regulations;

      (b)   completion of supervised clinical practicum experiencesfrom an educationalinstitution or its cooperating programs the content of which shall beconsistent with the standards of the state universities of Kansasand delineated in the rules and regulations;

      (c)   completion of a postgraduate professional experience pursuant to rulesand regulations; and

      (d)   passage of an examination in speech-language pathology oraudiology pursuant to rules and regulations.
