Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH Article 66.--ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG ABUSE COUNSELORS

65-6604. Refusal to issue or renew, suspension, limitation or revocationof registration; grounds; applicability of Kansas administrative procedureact.(a) The board may deny, refuse to renew, suspend, limit orrevoke any registration pursuant to this act ifthe registrant or applicant:

(1) Has obtained or attempted to obtain registrationby means of fraud,misrepresentation or concealment of material facts;

(2) has been convicted of a crime found by the board to have adirect bearing on whether the registrant orapplicant can beentrusted to serve the public in the position of alcohol and other drug abusecounselor;

(3) has used any advertisement or solicitation which is false,misleading or deceptive to the general public or persons to whom theadvertisement orsolicitation is primarily directed; or

(4) has violated any lawful order or rule and regulation of the board.

(b) Suspension, limitation, revocation or refusal to issueor renew registration pursuant to this section shall be in accordance with theKansas administrative procedure act.
