Chapter 65.--PUBLIC HEALTH Article 72.--NATUROPATHIC DOCTORS

      65-7213.   Naturopathic acupuncture specialtycertification.(a) In order to practice naturopathic acupuncture, anaturopathic doctor shall obtain a naturopathic acupuncture specialtycertification from the board. The board may issue this specialty certificationto a naturopathic doctor who has:

      (1)   Submitted an application and paid certification fee to be determined bythe board;

      (2)   completed basic oriental medicine philosophy from acollege or university approved by the board and 500 hours of supervisedclinical training under a trained naturopathic acupuncturist's supervision.

      (b)   The provisions of this section shall take effect on and after January 1,2003.
