Chapter 66.--PUBLIC UTILITIES Article 1.--POWERS OF STATE CORPORATION COMMISSION

      66-1,139a.   Unified carrier registration clearingfund.All amounts collected under K.S.A. 66-1,139, and amendments thereto, for thepurpose of registration of motor vehicles, pursuant to federal statutes,shallberemitted by the state corporation commission to the state treasurerin accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 75-4215, andamendments thereto. Upon receipt of each such remittance, thestate treasurer shall deposit the entire amount in the state treasury to thecredit of the unified carrier registrationclearing fund which is herebycreated. The statecorporation commission shall reconcile such clearing fund monthly with balancesremitted in accordance with this section.
