66-1,142. Biannual transfer of certain balances inmotor carrierlicense fees fund to state highway fund; notice thereof, entry uponrecords.On July 30 and on January 30 of each year,the state treasurer shall transfer to the state highway fund allunencumbered balances in excess of $700,000 in the motorcarrier license feesfund of the state corporation commission, which is provided for in K.S.A.66-1,139 and amendments thereto. Upon making any such transfer, thestate treasurer shall give notice thereof to the director ofaccounts and reports, the secretary of transportation and the statecorporation commission who shall make the proper entries on the records oftheir respective offices to show such transfer.
