Chapter 66.--PUBLIC UTILITIES Article 1.--POWERS OF STATE CORPORATION COMMISSION

      66-1,157c.   Residential pipeline, inspection by city or county.(a) As used in this section, terms have the meaningsprovided by 49 C.F.R. 192.3, as in effect on the effective date of this act.

      (b)   The state corporation commission may enter into a contract withany city or county in this state whereby:

      (1)   The commission agrees to train building inspectors or other personsdesignated by such city or county to inspectnew installations of natural gas pipeline between a main and residential property; and

      (2)   the city or county agrees that such building inspectors or otherdesignated persons will inspect such newinstallations of pipeline on behalf of the commission and report theresults of such inspections to the commission.
