Chapter 66.--PUBLIC UTILITIES Article 1.--POWERS OF STATE CORPORATION COMMISSION

      66-1,185.   Jurisdiction of commission to comply with certain federal legislation.(a) The state corporation commission shall have such jurisdictionas is required to provide compliance with and carry out the requirementsof the provisions of the federal natural gas policy act of 1978 and theprovisions of the public utility regulatory policies act of 1978 and withthe rules and regulations adopted by federal agencies pursuant to such acts,and the state corporation commission shall adopt such rules and regulationsdeemed necessary for such purpose includingthose needed for the establishment of necessary fees.

      (b)   The state corporation commission may apply for, receive and disburseany federal funds made available to state regulatory agencies to providecompliance with such acts.
