66-1262. Same; certification of renewable energyresources; rules and regulations.(a) Thecommission shall establish rules and regulations forthe administration of acertification process for use of renewable energy resourcesdescribed in subsection (f)(11) of K.S.A. 2009 Supp. 66-1257, and amendmentsthereto, forpurposes of fulfilling the requirements of K.S.A. 2009 Supp. 66-1258,and amendmentsthereto. Criteria for the certification processshall bedetermined by factors that include, but are not limited to: Fuel type,technology and theenvironmental impacts of renewable energy resources described in subsection(f)(11) of K.S.A. 2009 Supp. 66-1257, and amendments thereto.Use of renewable energyresources described in subsection (f)(11) of K.S.A. 2009 Supp. 66-1257, andamendments thereto,shall not cause undue or adverse air, water or land use impacts.
(b) The commission shall establish rules andregulations required in this section within 12months of the effective date of this act.
