Chapter 66.--PUBLIC UTILITIES Article 13.--MOTOR CARRIERS

      66-1321.   Rights saved in legal actions and proceedings.(a) No suit, action or other proceeding, judicial or administrative, lawfullycommenced, or which could have been commenced, by or against anystate agency mentioned in this act, or by or against any officer of thestate in such officer's official capacity or in relation to the dischargeof such officer's official duties, shall abate by reason of the taking effectof reorganization under the provisions of this act. The court may allowany such suit, action or other proceeding to be maintained by or againstthe successor of any such existing agency or officer affected.

      (b)   No criminal action commenced or which could have been commenced bythe state shall abate by the taking effect of this act.
