      68-1033.   Designation of part of K-12 and U.S. 56 as Shawnee Mission Parkway.State highway 12 from its intersection with statehighway 7, thence easterly on state highway 12 to the intersection ofUnited States highway 56 and Interstate highway I-35, thence northeasterlyon United States highway 56 to the Kansas-Missouri line is herebydesignated "Shawnee Mission Parkway." The secretary of transportationshall place markers along the highway right-of-way at proper intervals toindicate that the route described is "Shawnee Mission Parkway." Each citythrough which Shawnee Mission Parkway passes shall reimburse the secretaryof transportation for the cost of placing such markers on such route intheir city in such amount as each city is billed by the secretary.
