      68-1062.   Designation of part of K-20 as the Kickapooveterans memorial highway.K-20 highway west from the west city limits of the city ofHorton to the junction of K-20 highway with United States highway 75 is herebydesignated as the Kickapoo veterans memorial highway. The secretary oftransportation shall place signs along the highway right-of-way at properintervals to indicate that the highway is the Kickapoo veterans memorialhighway, except that such signs shall not be placed until the secretary hasreceived sufficient moneys from gifts and donations to reimburse the secretaryfor the cost of placing such signsand an additional 50% of the initial cost to defray future maintenance orreplacement costs of such signs. The secretary of transportation may acceptand administer gifts and donations to aid in obtaining and installing suitablesigns.
