      68-1066.   Designation of part of K-10 as the GovernorJohn Anderson, Jr. highway.That portion of K-10 highway from the western boundary ofJohnson county then east to the junction of K-10 highway and interstate highway435 is hereby designated as the Governor JohnAnderson, Jr. highway. The secretary of transportation shall place highwaysigns along the highway right-of-way at proper intervals to indicate that thehighway is the John Anderson, Jr. highway, except that such signs shall not beplaced until the secretary has received sufficient moneys from gifts anddonations to reimburse the secretary for the cost of placing such signs and anadditional 50% of the initial cost to defray future maintenance or replacementcosts of such signs. The secretary of transportation may accept and administergifts and donations to aid in obtaining and installing suitable signs.
