68-1119
68-1119. Inspection of work.If the county engineer deems it necessary the countyengineer shall appoint, withthe approval of the board, a competent inspector toinspect theconstruction of any bridge or culvert work. The countyengineer shallbe in direct charge of all construction work and may remove suchinspectorat any time for cause, except that whenfederal aid is grantedforthe construction of any bridge or culvert work such construction shall beunder the direct supervision of the secretary of transportation. The factthat the county has an inspector on the work shall notrelease thecontractor from the entire fulfillment of the terms ofsuch contractor's contract.
