      68-1701.   Designation; jurisdiction of countycommissioners.There shall be designated in the state of Kansas a system of roads andhighwayswhich, for the purposes of this act, shall be known as thecounty major collector roadsystem meeting the requirements of title 23 of the code offederal regulations, the construction, reconstruction and maintenance ofwhich shall be under the jurisdiction of the board of county commissionersof each county.
