Chapter 68.--ROADS AND BRIDGES PART III.--MISCELLANEOUS Article 20.--TOLL ROADS OR TURNPIKES

      68-2046.   Surveys and studies.The authority is hereby authorized and directed to make such surveys andstudies of any turnpike project as may be necessary to effect the financingauthorized by this act at the earliest practicable time, and for thispurpose to employ such consulting engineers, traffic engineers, legal andfinancial experts and such other employees and agents as it may deemnecessary. To effect the purpose of this act, the secretary oftransportation shall make available to the authority all data in thesecretary's possession which may be useful to the authority in making suchsurveys and studies and said secretary may furnish such assistance inmaking investigations and in preparing designs for any turnpike project asmay be agreed upon between the secretary and the authority, the cost ofsuch surveys and expenses incurred by the secretary to be paid by theauthority.
