Chapter 68.--ROADS AND BRIDGES PART III.--MISCELLANEOUS Article 20.--TOLL ROADS OR TURNPIKES

      68-20,110.   Surveys and studies.The authority is hereby authorized and directed to make such surveys andstudies and to update any survey or studies already made of any highwayproject as may be necessary to effect the financing authorized by this actat the earliest practicable time, and for this purpose to employ suchconsulting engineers, traffic engineers, legal and financial experts andsuch other employees and agents as it may deem necessary. To effect thepurpose of this act, the secretary of transportation shall make availableto the authority all data in the secretary's possession which may be usefulto the authority in making such surveys and studies and the secretary mayfurnish such assistance in making investigations and in preparing designsfor any highway project as may be agreed upon between the secretary and theauthority, the cost of such surveys and expenses incurred by the secretaryto be paid by the authority.
