      68-2310.   Same; bonds deemed securities; acquisition and deposit.Bonds issued by the secretary of transportation under the provisions ofthis act are hereby made securities in which all public officers and publicbodies of the state and its political subdivisions, all insurancecompanies, trust companies, banking associations, investment companies,savings and loan associations, executors, administrators, trustees andother fiduciaries may properly and legally invest funds, including capitalin their control or belonging to them. Such bonds are hereby madesecurities which may properly and legally be deposited with and received byany state or municipal officer or any agency or political subdivision ofthe state for any purpose for which the deposit of bonds or otherobligations of the state is now or may hereafter be authorized by law.
