      68-517.   Abandonment of county road unit system; election;contracts.Any county in this state which has heretofore adopted or mayhereafter adopt the county road unit system may at any general electionafter two years from the date of such adoption abandon the county roadunit system and return to the original county and township road systemprevailing in the county before the adoption of the county road unitsystem: Provided, That every outstanding contract made by suchcounty while operating under the provision of the county road unitsystem be fully satisfied and complied with.
