      68-549.   Penalties for violations by individuals.Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this actshall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereofbefore any court of competent jurisdiction shall be fined in a sum notmore than $500, and shall be committed to the county jail until suchfine and cost of prosecution be paid.
