      68-588.   Same; construction contracts;standards.The county commissioners are hereby authorized to contract, as providedby law, for the supervision of any work performed in the construction ofany highway commenced under the provisions of K.S.A. 68-586, and amendmentsthereto, but all suchhighways shall conform to minimum federal or state generally recognized andprevailing standardsfor the designated road classification.
