71-1408. Time when change may be made.Change of method of election in any community college district maybe made in the manner provided in this act at any time during the periodbeginning on the first Wednesday in April of each odd-numbered year andending on the first Tuesday in December of each even-numbered year, ifsuch change is also approved in a manner authorized in this act beforethe end of such period. The new method of election in such districtshall be followed in the election of trustees next following such changeand shall continue in force until again changed in the manner providedin this act. Change of method of election shall not shorten the term ofany trustee serving on the board at the time the change is made.
