Chapter 71.--SCHOOLS--COMMUNITY COLLEGES Article 17.--CONSOLIDATION OF VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS WITH COMMUNITY COLLEGES

      71-1704.   Judicial, administrative and criminal actions; rightspreserved.(a) No suit, action or other proceeding, judicial oradministrative, lawfully commenced, or which could have been commenced, byor against any area vocational school or area vocational-technical schoolconsolidated with a community college in accordance with the provisions of thisact, or by oragainst any personnel of any such area vocational school or areavocational-technical school, shall abate by reason of such consolidation.The court may allow any such suit,action or other proceeding to be maintained by or against the communitycollege with which such area vocational school or area vocational-technicalschool is consolidated.

      (b)   No criminal action commenced or which could have been commenced byany area vocational school or area vocational-technical school consolidatedwith a community college in accordance with the provisions of this act shallabate by the takingeffect of this act.
