71-802. Loss of approval of college; loss of state entitlement.At any time, ifthe state board of regents finds that a communitycollege previouslyapproved or deemed approved has failed to comply with the provisions ofthis act or with any provision of a rule or regulation adopted pursuantto this act, or fails to meet the standards contained in this act, thestate board of regents shall so advise the board oftrustees. Ifafter12 calendar months after any such notification suchboard oftrustees has failed to correct the deficiency noted, the stateboard of regents shall withdraw approval of thecommunitycollege and it shall notbe entitled to state aid during the continuance of any such period ofwithdrawal. Any action of the state board of regentsin granting, denying orwithdrawing approval of a community college shall be subject toreview by the legislature.
