Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS Article 11.--SCHOOL ATTENDANCE, CURRICULUM AND ACCREDITATION

      72-1125.   Same; certification of teachers; assessmentprocedures.As part of the certification process, teachers certified in theeducation of blind and visually impaired children shall be required todemonstrate competence in reading and writing Braille. The state board ofeducation shall adopt assessment procedures to assess such competencies whichare consistent with the standards adopted by the national library service forthe blindand physically handicapped.
