Whenever tuition of a student is to be paid by the schooldistrict in which the student is enrolled as specified in provision(2) ofsubsection (d) of K.S.A. 72-4417, and amendments thereto, the amountof tuition shall be billed by the area vocational school or a communitycollege which is consolidated with an area vocational school or areavocational-technical school under the provisions of K.S.A. 71-1701 through71-1706, to the schooldistrict in which the student is enrolled approximately atthe commencementof the fifth week of the term to which such tuition applies, and suchtuition shall be paid by the school district receiving the billing atthe next regular board meeting following receipt of the bill.
