72-4440. Definitions.As used in this act:
(a) "Area vocational school," "area vocational-technical school,""board," "state board" and "school year" have themeanings respectively ascribedthereto in K.S.A. 72-4412, and amendments thereto.
(b) "Operating budget" shall have the meaning ascribedthereto in K.S.A. 72-4430, and amendments thereto.
(c) "School" means any area vocational school and any area vocational-technicalschool.
(d) "Vocational education capital outlay aid" means state financialaid distributed under this act by the state board to a school for thepurpose of construction, reconstruction, repair, remodeling, additionsto, furnishing and equipping of school buildings, architectural expensesincidental thereto, the acquisition of buildings for school purposes andschool building sites and the acquisition of equipment.
