Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS Article 44.--CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION

      72-4462.   Amount of scholarship; payment upon certification offull-time enrollment; limitations.(a) Subject to the other provisions of this section, avocational education scholarship shall provide, upon certification by adesignated educational institution that the vocational education scholar is enrolledfull time in a vocational education program, for payment to the vocationaleducation scholar of an amount not to exceed:

      (1)   Five hundred dollars when the period of time required for completionof the vocational education program in which the vocational educationscholar is enrolled is not more than one school year in duration; or

      (2)   five hundred dollars for each program term, not to exceed twoprogram terms, when the duration of theperiod of time required for completion of the vocational education programin which the vocational education scholar is enrolled encompasses more thanone school year.

      (b)   In no event shall the amount awarded to a vocational educationscholar under a vocational educationscholarship or the total of any amounts awarded thereunder and under astate scholarship exceed an amount equal to theamount of the total tuition and required fees for the vocationaleducation program in which the vocational education scholar is enrolled.
