72-4470c. Contracts; governed by Kansaslaw.(a) It is the public policy of the state of Kansas that allcontractsentered into bythe governing body of a technical college, or any officers or employees thereofacting on behalfof the governing body, shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance withthe laws of thestate of Kansas.
(b) The governing body of a technical college and any of its officers oremployeesacting on behalf of the governing body shall have no power to enterinto a contract whichprovides that the contract shall be governed by or interpreted in accordancewith the laws of astate other than the state of Kansas.
(c) The governing body of a technical college and any officers or employeesthereofacting on behalf of the governing body shall have no power, pursuant to acontract, to submit tothe jurisdiction of any court other than a court of the state of Kansas.
(d) The provisions of any contract entered into in violation of this sectionshall becontrary to the public policy of the state of Kansas and shall be void andunenforceable.
