Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS Article 45.--ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAMS

      72-4520.   Basic education programs; establishment and operation bylocal boards; standards and criteria; cooperative agreements.Each board is authorized to establish, conduct, maintain and administeran adult basic education program and such program shall meet standards andcriteria set by the state board. Cooperative agreements among boards may beentered into for providing in conformity with the purposes of this act,such programs, facilities, equipment and services as may be necessary ordesirable. No such cooperative agreement shall be effective until the samehas been approved by the state board which approval shall be granted ifsuch agreement complies with the standards and criteria established by thestate board.
