Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS Article 55.--STATE SCHOOL RETIREMENT SYSTEM

      72-5516.   Same; contracts deemed to include.All contracts for school services made after this act goes into effect,and all salaries of school employees set by statute, shall be deemed toinclude this provision for deductions: Provided, That in any casewhere an existing contract or legal obstacle forbids a deduction, theschool employee concerned is hereby authorized to tender the amount ofthe deduction to the board for credit: Provided further, Thissection shall not apply to employees exempted under the provisions ofK.S.A. 72-5509.
