Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS Article 64.--SCHOOL DISTRICT FINANCE AND QUALITY PERFORMANCE

      72-6406.   Definitions; district; board; state board.(a) "District" means a school district organized under thelawsof thisstate which is maintaining public school for a school term in accordancewith the provisions of K.S.A. 72-1106, and amendments thereto.

      (b)   "Board" means the board of education of a school district.

      (c)   "State board" means the state board of education.

      (d)   The provisions of this section shall take effect and be in force fromand after July 1, 1992.
