Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS Article 64.--SCHOOL DISTRICT FINANCE AND QUALITY PERFORMANCE

      72-6443.   Ancillary school facilitiesweighting.(a) The ancillary school facilities weighting of eachdistrictshall be determined in each school year in which such weighting may be assignedto enrollment of the district as follows:

      (1)   Add the amount authorized under subsection (a) of K.S.A.72-6441, and amendments thereto, to be produced by a tax levy and certified tothe state board by the state court of tax appeals to theamount, if any, computed under subsection (b) of K.S.A. 72-6441, and amendmentsthereto, tobeproduced by a tax levy;

      (2)   divide the sum obtained under (1) by base state aid per pupil. Thequotient is the ancillary school facilities weighting of the district.

      (b)   The provisions of this section shall take effect and be in force fromand after July 1, 1997.
